Providing Exceptional Construction Service to the Greater Seattle Area for 29 years.
About The Founder
Jay Loken is a third generation craftsman whose construction career spans over fifty years. Starting as an apprentice carpenter at age 15, he then went on to graduate with a degree in Construction Engineering from Montana State University. He moved to Seattle in 1989 and in 1991 was the project manager of the award-winning Tropical Rainforest Exhibit at the Woodland Park Zoo.
Jay has spent the last twenty nine years at the helm of Loken Construction, where he and his expert team specialized in home remodels and custom home building.
Jay recently retired and left the business to his sons, Carsten and Garth Loken.
Most work on our projects is performed “in house” and includes; concrete foundations and flat work, framing, door and window installation, exterior siding and trim, interior trim, and cabinet installation. The carpenters on staff are professional, prompt and efficient. The subcontractors we employ have been hand-picked over time and work with us on every project. They are familiar with our systems and produce the quality of work that we are known for.
Locally Built, Environmentally Friendly.
Loken Construction houses and projects are designed to provide homeowners with comfortable, durable, environmentally friendly solutions that are cost-effective to own and operate. These resource-efficient homes are crafted to exceed building codes and provide homeowners with years of healthy, quality living, while protecting our families and the precious Northwest environment.
